  1. How much do you charge to discuss my case?

Nothing.  Your initial consultation is FREE.  During this visit we will discuss your case and what your expectations are.  This is an opportunity for you to get to know our firm and for us to educate you about the relevant law and how our firm will be able to assist you in your legal matter.

  1. What should I do if I get charged with a crime?

You need to consult with a lawyer.  A Georgia criminal defense attorney can make sure that your rights were not violated, provide you with advice regarding the complex criminal justice system, file motions and advocate on your behalf.  If you are arrested, ask for an attorney and do not speak to anyone about your case.

  1. What should I do if I get charged with a DUI?

It is very important that you speak to a criminal defense attorney as soon as possible.  If you were served with a notice of an administrative license suspension you only have 10 days to object to the suspension and demand a hearing.  Also, DUI law is very complex and technical and a lawyer will be able to evaluate your case for any legal deficiencies or defenses, file all the appropriate motions and advocate on your behalf.

  1. What should I do if I am getting a divorce?

This is a very difficult time.  A Georgia family law attorney can help ensure that your best interests and/or the best interests of your children are protected.  The process of dividing property and deciding child custody and support is very complicated.  A lawyer can guide you through this complex and frightening process.

  1. Do I need a Will?

Yes, everyone should have a Will, especially if you have a family.  Preparing a Will is a very simple way to provide peace of mind that your loved ones will be taken care of and your estate will be handled according to your wishes.

  1. What should I do if my child gets charged with committing a crime?

In Georgia, a juvenile is anyone under 17 years of age.  Juveniles commit delinquent acts instead of crimes.  If your child is accused of committing a delinquent act you need to consult with an experienced Georgia juvenile law attorney who can help protect your child’s future by resolving their juvenile case in the best manner possible.
